New York city is one of the worlds most famous, busiest, and exhilarating cities you will ever come across. A trip to New York will open your eyes to the heart of America and will expose you to things you never dreamed of! From tourist attractions, to museums, to concerts, to celebrity spotting, there is something for everyone in New York City.
Staying in a downtown New York City hotel is quite the thrill. From experience, staying downtown is the way to be right in the heart of the City.
There are plenty of New York hotel rooms that are right in the heart of New York, it is especially fun to stay right in Times Square. Some of my favorite things to do in New York are right downtown. There is a lot of shopping to do in New York City, Times Square has stores like you wouldn't believe. It is fun to browse the big department stores and see what they have to offer.
New York is known for having some of the most famous tourist attractions. Some that are a must are: The empire state building, Central Park, and the Statue of Liberty. If you are the type who likes to explore, New York is fun to figure out by yourself. If you are not so brave, there are plenty of tours that will show you the hot spots in New York City. Personally, it is fun to try to figure out the subway system and to take a wild taxi ride.
When you are in New York another great place to visit is Ellis Island. Ellis island is just a few minutes by boat ride off of the island of Manhattan. Ellis island has a rich history and was the place for American Immigration.
When visiting New York, make sure you leave time to see a Broadway Musical. Going to a Broadway play is like an experience that you have never had before, be prepared to be entertained for a couple hours while you sit back and relax. A tip on saving money for shows in New York is in Times Square there are ticket booths that offer last minute deals on shows that week. You can save over 50% on your ticket prices.
A trip to New York would not be complete without a trip to Central Park. Central Park is one of New York's most beautiful places to visit. Central Park has a lot to offer to its visitors. There is entertainment, a zoo,and food.
